        Born and raised in North Carolina, Naomi Nelson is a New York based actor, writer, and visual artist. She graduated with a BFA in Drama from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, training in stage and screen acting at The Meisner Studio and Stonestreet Studios. She continues to take acting classes at both the Terry Knickerbocker Studio and the Kimball Studio. She loves to laugh and is interested in creating projects that have an emphasis on authenticity and improvisation. Outside of performing, Naomi loves her work as an art teacher for different after-school programs in Brooklyn public schools! 

      Naomi is celebrating her first original work, Tell Your Mom I Miss Her!, a comedy drama she co-wrote and starred in at The Tank. For a glimpse into what the process was like, check out @tellyourmomimisshernyc on instagram!
